HyperScale X has several built-in security features to provide the highest level of security for the nodes. These features should be enabled post-deployment to secure the HyperScale X nodes.
Procedure

Install operating system updates on the nodes to ensure that the OS has the most recent updates.

Strengthen secure shell(SSH) protocol/security/communication between the nodes.

Enable firewall to provide network security for the nodes.

Restrict root access to provide an additional layer of security for the nodes.
Important
After the initial setup, it is important to regularly install the latest updates to keep the software up-to-date on the HyperScale nodes. For more information, see Installing Updates.
