Prerequisites for Laptop Backup

Ensure you have performed the following before configuring your CommCell for Laptop Backup:

  • Install the CommServe on your client computer. If IIS is enabled on your client, then Web Server and Web Console are installed automatically.

    If the CommServe computer does not have IIS enabled or if you want to install the Web Server and Web Console separately, see Installing the Web Console.

  • Install the MediaAgent and configure your Disk Libraries.
