When you add multiple access nodes to a VMware instance or subclient, the backup copy operation automatically distributes the VMs in a backup copy job across the available access nodes. However, not all access nodes are used during the backup copy operation. The optimal number of nodes is selected based on the VMs and disks involved in the backup copy operation. No other configuration is required to enable multinode backup copies.
