Disabling the User Accounts with Expired Password

To disable the user accounts with expired password, use the Disable Expired Users workflow.

Note

After a user account is disabled, the user retains all assigned permissions within the CommCell environment until the user logs off. After the user logs off, the user cannot log on to the CommCell.

Procedure

  1. Download the workflow Disable Expired Users from the Commvault Store.

    For instructions, see Downloading and Updating Workflows from the Commvault Store.

  2. To deploy the workflow, in the Commcell Browser, right-click Disable Expired Users, and then click All Tasks > Deploy.

  3. To run the workflow, right-click Disable Expired Users again, and then click All Tasks > Execute.

    The Disable Expired Users Options dialog box appears.

  4. In Run workflow on, select the workflow engine to execute the workflow.

    To use the workflow engine that has the most recent deployed version of the workflow, select Any.

  5. In the email box, type the email address to which you want to receive email notification about the execution of the workflow.

  6. Click OK.
