Deleting Backup Data and Archive Data from the Web Console

You can use the Web Console to delete backup data and archive data.

When you delete backup data or archive data, delete the data from the source location, so that the next backup operation does not back up the data again. If the files are archived, delete their stubs from the source before running the delete data operation, so that the stubs are not backed up again.

Procedure

1. Log on to the Web Console.

2. Click My Data.

   The size that is shown beside each client includes only data that was backed up by the default subclient in the default backup set.

3. Under the computer from which you want to delete data, click Restore.

4. Locate the files and/or folders that you want to delete.

5. Select the files and/or folders and then click Delete.

6. Click Yes.
