Adding an Array Entry for the Microsoft Azure Array

To manage snapshots from different subscriptions, add a Microsoft Azure array to the CommServe database.

Procedure

1. On the ribbon in the CommCell Console, click the Storage tab, and then click Array Management.

   The Array Management dialog box appears.

2. Click Add.

   The Array Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the General tab, specify the following information:

   1. From the Snap Vendor list, select Microsoft Azure.

   2. In the Name box, type a name for the array.

4. On the Array Access Nodes tab, from the Available MediaAgents list, select a MediaAgents that is a Microsoft Azure VM and with contributor role, and then click Add>.

   The selected MediaAgents are added in the Selected MediaAgents list and in the Roles table.

5. Click OK.
