By default, the links on the Web Console Add New Computer page go to the Download Center configured for your Web Console (see Using the Download Center). You can configure those links to go directly to specific packages or to go to another Download Center or another website.
Linking Directly to Packages
You can configure direct links to each version of the laptop installation package. For example, you can configure one link for the Windows operating system and another link for the Macintosh operating system. The laptop installation packages are stored on your Web Server or on a different website.
In the Web Console, end users click the Add New Computer link to access the installation package. On the Add New Computer page under Download and Install Package, the first here link is based on the end user's operating system. You can configure this operating system-based link by using the PackagePathX and PackageUrlX additional settings.

To the CommServe computer, add the additional setting for the installation packages as shown in the following table.

Linking to a Download Center or a Website
You can configure a link to a website where you have hosted the laptop installation packages. For example, you can configure a link to another Download Center or to your company website.
In the Web Console, end users click the Add New Computer link to access the installation package. On the Add New Computer page under Download and Install Package, there are two here links. The first here link is based on the end user's operating system. The second here link is for all other platforms. You can configure both links by using the additional settings below.
